About Ezri

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play very energetic and happy, but still focused. I always try to focus on where is the best place to put the ball and how can I better the ball. No matter what I always put my teammates first and try to have fun.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

As I said before, I am always happy on and off the court. I put all of my energy into whatever I do. I am very determined in everything I set out to do . This also applies to volleyball. My friendships are very important to me, some of my best friends have come from volleyball.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play on 805 elite volleyball 16-national's team. I have played with 805 for 4 years. I also play beach volleyball with Dig Deep. I am also involved in FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and am planning on becoming a FCA leader next year. I also attend a youth group at ABC church. I have recieved Honor Roll awards at school for my GPA and a couple other awards at school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have become a good leader by volenteering to coach at FCA camps and helping to coach the freshman team. I have also learned to stay calm under pressure which has helped me many times in volleyball. I beleive that having fun while working hard in whatever I am doing has helped me in many ways. I am working on getting my AA degree while in highschool.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I am lucky to not have faced many significant challenges in my life. I have mild OCD which has caused me some stress, especially when I was younger. I have learned how to manage this in a healthy way.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college in California with a pre-med style major. Because I want to do pre med, I am working on getting my AA degree in highschool. This would me to have about half of college done when I enter college. Having completed some school already I will have more time for volleyball, while having enough time to do well in school, but at a slower pace over 4 years.

Ezri Bay Karp Ezri Bay Karp Ezri Bay Karp 6'3" | MB Atascadero | 2028 CA named Top Performer at PrepDig’s Exposure Tour in Northern California.

Ezri showcased impressive hops for a 6’3 middle, using her elevation and a heavy arm swing to create damage on both the block and the attack. She thought quickly in rallies and consistently positioned herself to make the next play. Her ability to find the right scoring angles added valuable pressure at the net.

Ezri is working on improving her vertical further and growing her volleyball IQ as she develops. She is also pursuing her AA degree during high school so she can study pre-med in college while continuing volleyball. Ezri loves animals and shared that she even has an emu at home, a fun detail that highlights her personality off the court.

Her combination of athleticism, intelligence, and scoring touch made her a standout performer.
