💡 How would you describe your role on the court, and what do you do to elevate the players around you?
My role as a DS is to make sure every pass gets to the setter so we can create opportunities to score. I elevate my teammates by bringing a joyful attitude to the court. I’m always hyped, jumping around, and helping my teammates match my energy.

🧠 In high-pressure moments, what’s your mindset and how do you stay composed?
My mindset is to forget the last play and focus on the next one. I try to improve on every mistake by staying locked into what’s ahead.

💪🏽 What’s something specific you’ve been working to add to your game this season, and why?
I’m constantly working on my defense and getting my feet to the ball because defense wins games.

🌟 Off the court, how would your coaches and teammates describe you, and what personal qualities do you bring to a team culture?
My coaches would describe me as someone who is focused and goal oriented. I don’t let mistakes bring me down. I always bring a positive attitude and give 100 percent effort.

💥 What’s a fun fact about you that you’d want college coaches to know?
I speak three languages: English, Spanish, and Hebrew. I’m currently learning my fourth, French.

Faith Dansby Faith Dansby 5'4" | DS/L/OH Granada Hills | 2028 CA , a Class of 2028 student-athlete, currently competes as an opposite/defensive specialist for LAVA Mission 16-1 and Granada Hills Charter. While she plays both positions effectively, her true passion lies in defense, something she’s eager to showcase at the upcoming event.

Her goal at every tournament is to demonstrate what she’s been learning both at practices and through her own training. For Salt Lake, Faith is focused on stepping out of her comfort zone and showing coaches her drive and hunger to grow.

Faith has recently prioritized her nutrition, understanding that properly fueling her body is essential to staying healthy and performing at her best. She’s also taken the initiative to review film from past tournaments, identifying areas for improvement and actively working to refine those aspects of her game.

What sets Faith apart is her mindset. She doesn’t dwell on mistakes, instead choosing to stay focused on the next play. Her effort is relentless, she takes pride in going after every ball with intensity and purpose.
