Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am competitive and my goal is to always better the ball. I understand that my job as a pin hitter is to read the court and swing aggressively. I work hard in the gym (playing and lifting) to improve my skills so I can give my best to my coaches and teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I believe firmly in the “we over me” concept. Volleyball is a team sport and every player must contribute for a team to be successful. I feel that teams are at their best when they are locked in and feeding energy to one another. Ultimately, volleyball should be fun.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in Student Council, Bring Change to Mind, Fellowship of Christian Student Athletes, and Riley Dance Marathon at my school. My community involvements include a part-time job, singing in my church choir, and serving at our local soup kitchen every other month.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been fortunate enough to be on teams where we provided aid to those in my community. I have also participated in a variety of events, such as buddy ball, helping feed those impacted by COVID, and helping run a breast cancer fundraising event. My part-time job awarded me a “Top sales in the district” last year.

What type of college are you looking for?

It is an honor to be able to play at any collegiate level. I am looking for a college that best fits my academic goals. I prefer to play for a school with a positive culture where players are excited to be there.
