About Gabby

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a 6'3" right-side hitter, my gameplay style is all about versatility and being ready to contribute in every part of the game. Offensively, I focus on using my height and power to deliver strong, dynamic attacks from the right side, whether it’s a quick set or a high ball. I take pride in stepping up when needed and being a reliable second option for kills when the primary hitter is covered.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on the court is all about being focused, adaptable, and confident. I stay calm under pressure, always looking for ways to improve and adjust based on what's happening in the game. I'm competitive, but I also know how important it is to stay composed and trust my instincts. I’m driven to make an impact whether I’m attacking, blocking, or passing, and I love being a key player.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a 6'3" right-side hitter in volleyball, I’ve developed a range of valuable skills and qualities that have shaped me both on and off the court. Leadership has become one of my strongest traits, as I’ve learned to step up in high-pressure situations, motivate my teammates, and communicate plays effectively. Volleyball is a team sport, and I’ve realized that success comes from working together.

The funny thing with Land was that she actually first caught my attention when she had a couple of really nice digs during warm-up play. Now, when you are watching a young 6’4 attacker that really isn’t what you expect to see. She has a lot of length and she did a really nice job on either pin with the out-of-system balls. Land has the ability to become a real impact pin hitter.
