Wachholz has always been a high impact player for both Mayer Lutheran and her club teams. She has developed a strong all around game and continued to add more weapons to her toolkit. Waccholz has been recognized by Minnesota on the Class A All-State team and Class A All-Tournament Team multiple times. She also made the 2022 USAV 17 National All Tournament Team. Waccholz has proven time and time again she can win and some program could be really lucky to get her on their roster!

It’s not often you see a lefty taking the big swing on the left pin on a regular basis. Her dominant hand does not define her, and she is a terminator. Wachholz is the hitter you can depend on, pure and simple. She adjusts extremely well to the set and knows just how to make opposing blockers look silly. Wachholz is strong in all 6 rotations with solid back row skills, making her even more versatile for positioning at the next level.

Wachholz is a strong 6-rotation player and being a lefty may get her automatically put into the opposites category, but I’ve found more often lately that there are some lefties that thrive on the left pin. She is quick off the floor as an attacker and blocker and her athleticism and versatility are constantly demonstrated through her ability to score at will on either pin. Wachholz can hit different tempos, but she is really good if you just put the ball up and let her be an athlete. She also excels in ball control with her speed, as well as her tracking skills to get to the first contact. It is no wonder she has garnered Class A All-State, Class A All-Tournament Team, and USAV 17 National All Tournament Team all in the span of 8 months.
