About Garity

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Hustle, get to every ball, high energy, team player!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Calm, inclusive, determined to always do my best.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Played DartFrog travel Club, GSA travel, and now our club changed names to Torch, I went to camp in So Cal and was recognized as a hustler and strong hitter. I also went to a camp in Bakersfield, Ca and was recognize for my hitting and setting, and most importantly, being a good team player from one of the top sellers in the state.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I definitely like to cheer on my teammates and pump them up. I also like to lead by example being kind to others. I think the most important thing is I lead by example by working hard every moment at every practice and I am constantly working on getting better.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I had some challenges at school when friends were talking about other friends and I tried to bring them together because it’s better when we’re all friends. I also prefer to just play sports with the boys at recess and lunch because I don’t like drama.

What type of college are you looking for?

I really want to go to Michigan State University because my mom lived in Michigan. I’m looking for a place where I can have fun and meet new friends also where I can become a veterinarian.
