Grace Griswold Grace Griswold 5'7" | S Clinton | 2030 IA has been quite the playmaker for the River Queens. The freshman has made her mark not only by running the offense alongside junior Alaina Carpenter. But she’s also gotten her fair share of kills, digs, and aces. Griswold has done a fantastic job of moving the ball around and getting all of her hitters involved. Grace has already made her name known and still has so far to go.

I saw Griswold for the first time this past club season. Right off the bat, she impressed me with her clean hands and amazing ball placement. She puts her team first and works exceptionally hard to make her team look good. She plays selfless volleyball and approaches the game with a leader first mentality. There is no doubt in my mind that she is going to do amazing things this high school season with the River Queens.

Griswold is at the center of a Select operation that won the Iowa Regional and took 12th in the 48-team National Division at USAV Nationals in Indianapolis. Her ability to hit her spots with sets consistently from points all around the court stood out. She’s quick and effortlessly adjusts to pass location. Griswold communicates well with teammates and shares a close connection with attackers, understanding where each one can maximize the swing. Long arms and lateral quickness aid in defending at the net or ending points.
