About Gracie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I always try to be as consistent as possible. Playing smart and being aggressive are two major things thats take role in my gameplay. It's all about my awareness to the game and knowing how to adapt to changes. Uplifting my teammates and staying positive can determine how me and my team plays.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I like to be fun and also locked in during game. On or off the court I love cheering on my teammates and supporting them. I stay calm, collected, and confident while being competitive. I'm highly disciplined and show grit through any challenge.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

im apart of NJHS (National Junior Honors Society) where we do charity work and help the community out! I also am and continue to be an A-honor roll student in all honors classes.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

i think i learned how to synergize more and bring people up more which plays a major role for volleyball but also outside of it. I do community service at my church and for school.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have struggled with getting through metal blocks and it can significantly affect gameplay and just your role as a team player. I really did go downhill at one point but I got through it and gave myself grace because you're not always going to be perfect and thats just how it is.

What type of college are you looking for?

I really am interested in Oklahoma University not only because it's close to home but they do have good education and overall and good program.
