About Greycee

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strength as a middle is how fast I can read the game and react at the net. I feel I am able to close blocks quickly and stay ready for quick attacks. I work hard to be a reliable player.

What are you working to improve right now?

I continue working on improving my foot work and speed along the net. I want to close blocks faster and be on top of quick attacks. I am also working on being more consistent with my timing and hitting different angles. I know that being quicker and more controlled will help me become a stronger middle.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I am looking for a program where coaches push me to be better & where I can continue to develop as a middle. Academics I am looking for a school where I can succeed in the classroom and still balance volleyball as a player. I am hoping for a program where I can grow as a player and as a person

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

I am a hard worker in everything I do. I take my academics seriously and do everything I can to stay organized so I can balance academics and sports. I am someone that gets along with everyone, I like being part of a team and supporting others. I am motivated and competitive, easy to talk to, and always willing to learn and have a positive attitude on and off the court.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

Right now, I’m really interested in two different career paths. One is becoming a criminal attorney because I like problem solving and understanding people. The other is becoming a PA in Radiology, since I’m really interested in the medical field and working with imaging like CT and PET scans. I know they’re very different, but both are careers I’m excited to learn more about as I get older.
