Dakota plays at Andrews Osborne Academy in Willoughby, Ohio and MAQ Volleyball Club. Miss Royer is a player who attacks from the right pin with an aggression and intent that tells you she is not just filling a roster spot but competing to be the player her team runs the offense through in critical moments. Her net presence on the right side is active and engaged rather than passive, and the blocking instincts she brings to that position show a player who understands the full responsibility of playing opposite in a system rather than simply showing up to swing. Dakota is able to play on both sides of the court and can add a lot of firepower to any team who gives her a chance.  We loved her attitude when playing during the showcase amongst players from all over the nation. She was always in good spirits and competed at a very high level no matter the circumstance.  We will be watching her very closely moving forward.  Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase event.
