How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am very energetic and positive on the court. I don’t want the ball to ever hit the floor and will do anything possible to make sure I keep the ball in play whether it’s diving across the court, sprinting out of bounds or sprawling out for a pancake. I love hyping up my teammates when they make a good play or giving them an encouraging word when we need a side out.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am focused on game and want my team to play to the best of our ability. I like to encourage my teammates throughout the matches and keep everyone positive and excited. I feel that I do a good job of staying mentally tough and positive.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in high school and club volleyball, as well as high school softball and travel softball. - OHS Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Scholar Athlete; OHS Volleyball Coaches Association Academic Excellence; Buckeye High School 1st Team All Academic; 1st and 2nd Year Academic Letter; Great Lakes Conference Scholar Athlete

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As an athlete I have learned a great deal about teamwork and leadership because those are skills that are necessary for a team to work effectively. It is so important for me to communicate with my teammates and coaches at all times and keep their spirits up. I enjoy participating in community service events through my church and other organizations such as Tim Tebow’s Night to Shine.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have not faced any significant challenges. When I was younger, I was always smaller than everyone else because I hit my growth spurt late. This helped me learn how to be extra aggressive and tough on the court. I love everything about volleyball, but making those extra tough plays is something I have always enjoyed.
