About Hailey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Calm, good ball placement.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m focused and quiet. I make good decisions in easy and hard moments in a game. I like the pressure and don’t get rattled in tough games.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was involved in Student Council at my Middle School. I was Student of the Month in Middle School. I attend church youth group weekly. I also help my old Middle School Coach sometimes during her games.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Teamwork- I'm here for it! I enjoy working with others on a common goal. Leadership- something I got get the opportunity to do that often but when I do it’s with calm and focus. Community service- I haven’t had much time to get involved but I have helped during a few Elementary/Middle school events as my mom is on the PTO Boards.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

This past season was one of the hardest seasons to date. I had to tune out the loud noises and just be me. I took every chance I got and made something work! I was told I wasn’t going to set this season after committing to the team. I went to weekly lessons to keep up as that is what I want. It payed off! One qualifier our setter went down and I had to step in and we won our very first golden ball

What type of college are you looking for?

Medium to small D1. I want to play at a high level but understand that school is just as important. I want to be involved with sports in some way after school so I need to find a place where I can play and also peruse Sports Media/Business Management.
