Simpson terminates balls a number of ways. She smacks crosses off fakes from teammates and paints back lines with off shots. Simpson improvises well in the air tipping balls to open spots on the court. She attacks seams with precision and can even take quality swings from the back row. Simpson is also valuable on defense with her passing. She makes the simple ones to get the offense into a good rhythm.

Simpson (pictured) took sound swings on the outside for 16-1. She’s reliable when the team needs big points. She is not afraid to tip over blockers for huge points. Simpson is especially tough on one sets. She forms sound double blocks with teammates and makes quality out of system passes.
