About Hannah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play confidently with high energy, strong communication, and relentless hustle. As a dynamic libero, I excel in serve receive with consistent, accurate passes that set up the offense. I read hitters early and cover the court with quick reflexes and smart positioning. I contribute with a reliable, aggressive and strategic serve that adds pressure on opponents and produce numerous aces per match.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a highly focused and resilient player who thrives under pressure. My mindset centers on consistency, quick decision-making, and relentless pursuit of the ball. I take pride in being a team-oriented leader who communicates effectively and maintains a positive attitude, always ready to support my teammates and adapt to any game situation.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout my volleyball journey, I have developed strong leadership skills by consistently motivating and guiding my teammates during practices and matches, fostering a cohesive and supportive team environment. As a libero, I’ve honed my ability to read the game quickly and anticipate opponents’ moves, which enhances our team’s defensive strength.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Being a coach’s kid has been both rewarding and challenging. One significant challenge was managing the high expectations, both from my mom and myself, to perform consistently at a high level. Sometimes it fell like there is little room for mistakes, which added pressure to every practice and game. However, this has taught me discipline, accountability, and how to handle constructive criticism.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with a competitive volleyball program that values strong defense and passing, so I can fully utilize and continue developing my skills as a libero. It’s important to me to play for coaches who emphasize technique, game IQ, and leadership in their defensive players. I want to join a team where I have the opportunity to earn playing time and contribute meaningfully.
