Forshee was excellent for Sweeny and helped her team challenge a strong Columbus team. The junior libero was lights out in serve-receive, covering a lot of ground and being very precise with her passing, which allowed the Lady Bulldogs to heavily use their middles on offense. Forshee also played great defense, performing truly impressive digs and being very difficult to score at – she also did well in stepping up to handle free balls. The libero set well in transition plays, was very disciplined when covering her hitters and consistently made an impact from the service line, rounding up an excellent overall performance.

Hannah Forshee, DS/libero for Houston Stellar, brings a calm and controlled presence to the backcourt with her high volleyball IQ and steady defensive play. She is well-trained in reading hitters and positioning herself to make the right defensive play, allowing her to consistently keep rallies alive. Hannah delivers a reliable pass that gives her setters the opportunity to run the offense efficiently and spread the ball across the net. What stands out most is her composure throughout the match — she plays with patience, confidence, and trust in her abilities, never looking rushed in high-pressure moments. Her consistency and poise make her a dependable anchor for Houston Stellar’s defense.

Hannah Forshee Hannah Forshee 5'7" | DS/L Sweeny | 2028 State TX plays with a nonstop motor and refuses to let anything touch the floor. She pursues every ball with urgency and confidence, turning tough plays into controlled passes. Her coverage is constantly active, and she reads the game cleanly—especially tracking hitters and seeing the play develop behind the block. As a 2028 DS/L from Sweeny High School, Hannah brings a steady presence, vocal leadership, and the kind of relentless defensive work ethic that elevates everyone around her.

The talented sophomore is on pace to shatter her stats from her freshman season.  She already has 510 total digs on the year and is averaging a solid 6.5 digs per set.  Digging is not her only strong suit as she has 517 service receptions also.  The five foot six ball control expert has helped her varsity team to a solid 24-7 overall record so far and they are not done yet.  She is also deadly from the service line as she can be pinpoint accurate with her serving location.  The strong jump serve has a great drop on it that falls just in front of opposing passers.  We think she has a high ceiling to keep improving and we think she deserves to be on some radars moving forward.
