She put up 18 digs in a playoff match where five teammates also reached double figures, which tells you the back row culture at New Braunfels is elite and she is leading it rather than riding it. At 5’1″ she plays with the low, explosive movement and court instincts that the position rewards at every level of competition, and her reading ability allows her to arrive in position before the attack is fully developed rather than scrambling to recover after the fact. The experience of performing in high-stakes playoff matches as a sophomore has accelerated her growth in ways that only those situations can produce, and she enters her senior year as one of the more seasoned back row competitors on the entire Texas Watch List.
