Her ability to read hitters and anticipate attacks allows her to consistently be in position, making even the toughest digs look effortless. Ireland tracks the ball well off the block, shows excellent footwork in transition, and communicates with confidence. Her court awareness and defensive IQ are high-level, and she brings energy every point. Jackson saved her best for last during the 2024 prep season. The junior held it down the back row as Heelan marched to the Class 4A state title. Jackson came up with 428 digs and added 112 assists. She’s a steady performer on defense, showing an excellent feel for the game and a knack for being in the right position. Jackson’s reflexes and reaction time are sharp. She’s taken a step forward this club season with Midwest Volleyball Power (MVP) and still has room to grow as a player. That should be attractive to college coaches.

Allow us to include MVP United 17 Red among its fellow Great Plains squads. This squad, which pulls in athletes from South Dakota and northwestern Iowa, has a fascinating 50-50 split of 2025s and 2026s. Jackson carries the 2026 banner in the back row and anchors the team’s defense when she rotates in. 17 Red’s unique lineup also allows Jackson to display her prowess as a secondary setter. The Sioux City North libero delivers accurate balls to her pin hitters and opens up out-of-system scoring opportunities. This MVP United group has seen the GJNC mountaintop after winning the 2023 16 USA title. Time to run it back this summer.

Jackson captured our attention last year when we covered MVP United on multiple occasions. This libero is strong in serve receive and boosts 17 Red’s floor defense whenever she’s in the match. Jackson and 17 Red saw the GJNC mountaintop in 2023 and are one step away from getting back to Nationals.
