How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
My gameplay style I would say is very rough and go getting because I am not afraid to run through chairs or my own teammates to get a ball. I will always try to make a move whether it looks nice or not because in my eyes an up is an up.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My personality is very outgoing and loud, I also do tend to joke around a lot even in tough situations and I always try to have fun. However, my mentality is always pushing myself to be better, and if I don't reach a certain desired spot then I became very serious with myself and not allowing myself to do anything but volleyball until I get there.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am involved in a organization called Bright young Girls and it helps and gives items to teenage girls who are in need, I have also received a Student of the year award at my Highschool Bishop Gorman for my theology department.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Being a setter helps me understand what it is like to not only lead a team but also to lead others outside of the court, I do participate in many of my school's activities such as Becoming a Gael which helped me learn what is is like to lead and participate in larger group activities.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
In my fifteens season I had an ACL scare which put me out of a tournament but it wasn't torn; however, it did teach me what it felt like to feel that desperate on the sidelines wanting to play knowing that I couldn't. In my freshman season I switched clubs and started highschool so it was two entirely new environments to me and I had to learn how to make friends quickly.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a college which has a high academic ranking but also a great volleyball program. I also prefer it to have good extracurricular activities for the students and a good campus as well. I don't care if it is D1, D2, or D3, I will go to whatever college will suit me the best.
