Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I play as if every game is my last! I give it all that I got every game, leaving everything on the court, no matter the outcome, to support my team and push us forward. Communication on top of consistent effort and perseverance through trials is what I find key! Overall, I aim to play with purpose, stay adaptable, and be someone my team can rely on.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’d describe my volleyball mentality as focused and team-driven. I’m always looking for ways to improve by being coachable. I try to uplift and bring energy to my teammates, especially when the game gets tough. I’m committed to giving my best effort every time and to keep moving forward. Even when things don’t go as I/we wanted, I keep a positive mindset and take it as a learning experience.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Yes! I am involved in AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) Club, FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), and DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America). I also volunteer at my local church to give back to the community!
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve developed leadership, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility. Community service has taught me the value of giving back and being a positive influence beyond the court, which I carry into my role as teammate. Being committed as well; knowing that it takes consistency and hard work. Being part of a team has taught me to stay disciplined and put the team’s success above my own.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
A challenge i’ve faced but didn’t let stop me was that I started playing sports “late.” I started playing sports in the summer of my freshman year (2024).
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college with a strong balance of academics and athletics, where I can grow as a player and person. I’d love to be somewhere I can challenge myself, contribute to the team, and be part of a positive, driven, family-like team culture.
