Madison’s impact shows through communication and relentless effort. She takes pride in going after every ball without hesitation and using her voice to keep teammates engaged. She continues to work on her setting, understanding that there is always room to improve no matter how much experience she gains. Her goal this season is to earn her spot while working hard, having fun, and building strong connections with her teammates. Known for her outgoing personality, Madison loves meeting new people and brings an approachable, positive energy that helps build chemistry on and off the court.

❤️The moment I knew I loved volleyball was…

The moment I knew I loved volleyball was when I started to recognize the environment it had created. I met so many new people and just fell in love with the fun and excitement that the game brought.

😬In high-pressure moments, what’s your mindset and how do you stay composed?

In high-pressure moments, I keep things simple by being encouraging and positive towards myself and my teammates. I let go of my mistakes and remind myself how to fix and move on to the next point.

💪How do you bounce back from a bad play?

I bounce back from a bad play by not only shaking it off but also reflecting on it and making sure I recognize how to fix that error so it won’t happen again.

🏐What’s one of your favorite volleyball memories?

One of my favorite volleyball memories was during this past club season. Me and my team competed against a team in Arizona and worked so hard to beat this team because we ALL as a team wanted to beat them. We had such great success and it was probably the best and most fun game I have ever played in my life.

🎓Are there any schools or programs you’re especially interested in?

I am interested in the Nursing field and programs at schools. I want to attend somewhere in Florida or specifically by the beach. 

🗣️How do you lead or communicate on the court when playing with new teammates?

When playing with new teammates, I like to communicate a whole bunch and make sure that we are all on the same page. I keep a positive mindset within myself and I make sure that no one drowns in their thoughts. Also as a setter, I continue to work with my hitters to ensure we are on the same page as most players all like their set differently.

🤣Fun fact college coaches should know about you? 

A fun fact about me is I love the beach! It is so beautiful and I always look forward to go there.

Madison is a 5’6” setter with a 4.2 GPA, playing for Vegas United 16 Black and Arbor View High School JV. She runs a fast-paced offense with her smart decision-making and accurate hands. Madison had an awesome club season and kept the momentum going all summer with extra training and reps. She’s super dedicated, always working on her technique and perfecting the little things that set elite players apart from the rest. She’s also super vocal, has smooth hands, and knows how to place the ball exactly where her hitters need it to shine. The future of Arbor View is definitely in great hands—literally.

Madison has been working hard to establish herself as a rising setter in her class. While she already looks impressive on film, seeing her in person truly showcases her skills. Her sets are precise, but what sets her apart is her constant communication with teammates, pointing out holes in the defense, the number of blockers, and more. She has a knack for mixing up her sets while also recognizing the hot hitter. This young setter is poised to keep climbing from here.
