While I don’t have the match schedule for the Rossville Tournament yet, one team I will for sure check out is Pleasant Ridge. I have not seen Bryan and Rams play since the fall of 2023. Bryan lights up the gym with her infectious energy. She is a gifted libero who might be underranked, since she does not have any public stats. I will scout two early matches this Saturday, and Bryan should be playing in one of them. Bryan is ranked No. 66 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027.

Pleasant Ridge is quite a hall, but it’s a great little school to watch volleyball at. Bryan is a talent I enjoy watching, and I am all about giving shoutouts to small-town kids. She is ranked No. 58 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027. I saw her play as a freshman, but missed seeing the Rams during her sophomore season. I will look at the Pleasant Ridge schedule closely and maybe find a match that fits into my schedule closer to home.

Bryan is one of those small-school athletes I will always go to bat for. I have seen her play quite a bit, although I missed her during the last prep season. She is a solid defensive player whose skills are best suited as a back-row only athlete. She has a nice serve and plays with enthusiasm every time she steps onto a court. She should be a target of local programs like Benedictine, St. Mary, and Highland Community College. She could also be a great steal for Western Kansas JUCO’s looking to import an athlete from the eastern side of the state.

I have watched Bryan improve over the past couple of years and she is a dynamo person to be around. She finished her sophomore season with 210 digs. She also added 25 aces for the Rams. She is playing up a level this year in club ball. Bryan will be competing for the Dynasty 17U Gold squad.
