There is so much to be said about timing, especially when it comes to young attackers, and Janich already has a great feel for it. She pairs a quick, powerful arm with excellent timing that allows her to take aggressive swings in a variety of situations. Whether she is attacking an out of system ball or tracking the set across her shoulder on the right pin, Janich does a great job getting herself in position to unload. When she connects, she puts plenty of power behind the ball and can deliver a heavy shot that is tough for defenders to dig. The numbers showcase that also. Just five matches into the season, Janich is already near the top of the leaderboard and averaging an impressive 10 kills per match.
