Expert Analysis
Mike Bryant | Prep Dig Scout
Eglitis continues to showcase her athleticism and physicality as a primary pin, helping her increase her stock and position in this rankings class up to #2. She arrives at this spot given her most recent play in MEPL action where she routinely elevated and hit over defenders with big pace and range. Her tools are becoming more complete to be able to make an impact beyond what her arm can do from any location across the net, which is impressive given how effective she is as an attacker.

Eglitis makes a big move into the top five given her success from the past club season through the recent fall high school cycle. She has great athletic qualities to her game as she is a lengthy pin hitter with explosive lift. At 6’1, she was a key factor for Bishop Watterson this past fall, especially at the right pin, and stands to take the reigns as their primary threat in future seasons due to upcoming graduation within the program and her continued development. She gets off the floor with ease and elevation that allows her to contact on top of the ball and drive her arm with good speed and depth control, which led to 213 total kills and a 3.0 k/s average for Bishop Watterson.

Eglitis may be one of the most electric pin attackers in the 2028 class as she gets off the floor so well and can generate a big contact point and follow through for some pace and range. She is explosive to get her head above the net beat defenses with her athleticism. With versatility to score from anywhere across the net, she is helping the Bishop Watterson effort as one of two key arms in their offense. As the Eagles are 5-8 overall, they have played a really tough schedule through which Eglitis is averaging 3.3 k/s, including a career high 20 kills in a win over Pickerington North.

Eglitis made a big impact this club season. She has elite level potential as she is 6’1 with a lot of length to her game along with the ability to get up, contact high, and put the ball down. As a primary left side pin, she scored a lot of points and certainly will over the course of her prep career. Bishop Watterson graduated a good chunk of their offense but Eglitis has ability to help them form a solid pin duo this coming fall.
