Eglitis is one of the more physical pins in the 2028 class. At 6'1, she proved her value and stock primarily on the right pin during the recent club season, which earned her an opportunity to rise in the rankings as well as commit to Maryland in the BigTen conference. Terminating 213 total kills in 2025, look for her opportunities and production to increase after the Eagles graduated their top arm. She has proven she can elevate and score so it will be fun to watch how that translates back to the high school cycle. Bishop Watterson takes on Fairbanks.

The Northwestern commit is back for her senior season for Olentangy Berlin following their 18-7 season in 2025, which included a 2nd place finish in Ohio Capital-Capital league play. Knapke enters her senior effort with 731 career digs following a breakout season last year as she averaged 15.3 d/m after collecting 366 total digs. The Bears, who are returning a solid core group of veterans, will play Upper Arlington in what should be a good test and competitive contest for both squads to start the 2026 season.

Rigo is one of the best 2029 prospects in Ohio as she balances her roles as a scorer and distributor across both high school ball and club. For Upper Arlington, she averaged 3.1 k/s on 231 kills to start her varsity career. Entering her sophomore season, Rigo comes back as the top offensive threat from last season while also offering 6.8 d/m and team high 62 service aces. The Golden Bears take on Olentangy Berlin to start their 2026 season.

Edgewood will face Revere to start the 2026 season as Vencill is back for her senior season, one that should be electric based upon the volume of offensive production she has delivered over her varsity career. She enters her final season with over 1,200 career kills after averaging 5.3 k/s over the past two seasons combined. She's one of the best point scoring arms in Ohio during the high school phase while also adding 14.2 d/m for her career thus far.

Walburn made a statement during her freshman season in 2025. She followed that up with a solid club cycle as she arrives to the fall season with an upgrade in her physical tools, skills, and assertiveness as a primary point scorer. Last year, Walburn averaged 2.4 k/s as she was just shy of 200 kills to start her varsity career. Expect her impact to grow as Olentangy has good core production back in key roles with an opportunity to improve on last year's overall results. The Braves face Teays Valley to start the season.
