About Jayden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Im a Libero that demonstrates a steady controlled presence on the court. I hustle for every ball, make tough digs & lead the back row with vocal energy. I'm highly confident in reading the court, understanding what needs to be done in out of system scenarios along with communicating defense responsibility to teammates on the floor.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am hardworking and not afraid to face any challenges. I'm extremely passionate about volleyball. I would describe myself as an open and honest person who doesn't believe in misleading other people and trys to be fair and uplifting on and off the court. Most times I'm very outgoing, but I do have quiet moments where I reflect and manage pressure but always come ready to play and put in work..

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I particapte in co-curiccular pathways in my academic courses at Millikan such as graphic design to pursue a degree in the arts and commercial design. During summer I also parcipated in Vacation bible school at Sea Coast Grace church. I have recieved multiple math awards and a writing award. My plan for the 2026-2027 school year is to join the after school drama club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Skills i have personally developed are leadership, decision-making, team work, collaboration, and patience. Every day I learn something new and everyday I keep working to become a better volleyball player and person.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

At a very young age I faced bad coaching to the point of wanting to quit volleyball. Not giving up during this time helped me overcome mental and emotional challenges and helped me understand, examine and seek out coaching and team ethics with a positive environment that I have found with PacWest volleyball club.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that offers fine arts but also a school with competive and positive sports program that believe in my abilities to go far as an student athlete. Im open to being far or close from home and Im excited for the journey ahead.
