, a Class of 2029 setter and right side hitter from Lakes High School in Lakewood, Washington and
DaKine Volleyball Club
, is one of the more intriguing two-way prospects in her class given the demands of the two positions she plays. The ability to both run an offense and threaten as an attacker from the right pin tells you there is a real volleyball IQ at work, because those roles require completely different reads and skill sets. As a setter, she shows a feel for tempo and the ability to manipulate the defense, distributing the ball with a confidence that allows her hitters to play freely. Her value on the right side comes from her athleticism and willingness to be aggressive and she does not shy away from the moment when the ball is set to her. Coming out of a Lakes program that reached the 2025 WIAA State Tournament is a meaningful credential, as that level of team success indicates she has been competing at a high standard in a quality 3A environment. There is still room to grow and define which role will be her primary home at the next level, but that dual-position value is exactly what makes her worth tracking now. Jeny is a versatile prospect whose upside is tied directly to how much she continues to develop in both roles. Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase event.

She’s the kind of setter who builds confidence in her attackers—reliable, accurate, and steady on every touch. On top of that, she contributed defensively and brought great energy to the court, making her a well-rounded presence and a strong leader for her team.

Solomua is a strong all-around player with sweet hands when setting and the ability to score as a right-side at the net. Her Dakine 15 national Pink team finished 9th at Matt Hartner in a 16/15 combined field of 128 squads. Solomua can be counted on to better the ball and make winning plays when a set is on the line.
