About Jessamyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I give it everything I've got, and I don't quit. I'm also smart and think about where my hits need to go. I have big energy.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm very positive and uplifting. I'm always trying to lift spirits and get my teammates in the game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in HOSA, attend nursing and church camps when available.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am often chosen as captain for my leadership abilities on and off the floor. I volunteer in the preschool department at my church and have learned how to encourage and lead.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My sister is a teen mom. Learning to navigate the challenges that produced in our household and extended family was very stretching and encouraged me to look at situations differently. Everyone has something going on in their life and need some patience and grace.

What type of college are you looking for?

Maybe a smaller college with a nursing program.
