She’s dangerous on the slide and effective attacking from both the middle and right side, giving her team plenty of options. A smart player who understands timing and spacing, she knows how to stay available for her setters. On defense, she’s a strong blocker who takes away key angles and forces hitters to adjust.

Jiada is a middle who puts up a truly massive block. She seems to be able to close a block no matter the distance, and a lot of hitters never see her coming. Her speed and ability to explode across the net help her to seal the net even on fast-tempo sets from her opponents. She has great vision work and is always engaged. Jiada also contributes significantly on offense. She is a player with a lot of potential and a name to know in this class.

I had the opportunity to watch Jiada during her team’s President’s Day tournament, and her block was impenetrable. Jiada was disciplined in her form and timing and was rarely tricked by opposing setters. She got great touches on the ball with her block and numerous stuff blocks as well.
