Frye moves well to close the block, presses over, not up, and reads setters and attackers to get a jump on her positioning. Frye slots in at #8 in the middle blcoker rankings, the rising senior from Shorewood is a skilled offensive player with a great work ethic closing the block. Frye has excellent length at 6’2″ and is decisive on overpasses and jousts at the net. During the club season with WVBA, Frye showed a solid ability to see the block as she was attacking and scored to open spots on the court with a hard swing and a soft well-placed tip.

Frye is our 7th ranked middle for the class of 2025 and the #24 player overall in the current class of 2025 rankings. The 6’2″ Frye is part of a talented WVBA 18 Adidas team that has been winning at a high rate this club season. The Shorewood junior is a hard worker, closing the block with effort defensively and getting into her transition routes to be an option or draw blockers away from the pin to balance the offense. Frye will target the deep corners with her swing and has added increased power to her game.

Frye has a whip of an arm and takes a hard approach before she unleashes it looking for a hard angle or rip to the corners. The Shorewood star has a solid close on her blocks and presses hard to seal off the net. Frye is nowhere near her ceiling as a player, and the 2025 prospect has progressed in her physicality and play just from the end of high school to club in early March.

Frye can attack from the middle or the pin, she has excellent versatility as a hitter. Her 6’2 length causes problems for opposing offenses, she has excellent training and footwork, and closes quickly when she reads the setter. Frye is poised for a breakout club season and should emerge as an offensive force throughout the year.
