No one was working harder than this group of athletes, hustling to get off the net in transition and doing everything in their power to close the block defensively. The talent level was deep and impressive, here are several that made an impact on their team.
Marrs has played the outside and right side, along with the middle, in previous seasons. The 6’4 Ellensburg prospect looked extremely comfortable patrolling the middle for her CRU 16 squad over the weekend against excellent competition. Always an excellent blocker with impressive length and extension over the net, Marrs is exploding offensively with added power as an attacker complimenting her always sound footwork.

The 5’9 first-team all-league player from Wenatchee has no issue competing at a high level with players who may have a few inches in size on her. Stuber is quick and skilled and has a great ability to move the ball around the block and find the open court to score. She is part of a strong Wenatchee and Kahiau sophomore trio that includes Ava Jo Berry Ava Jo Berry 5’7″ | S Wenatchee | 2025 State WA at setter and Keira Demirjian Keira Demirjian 5’9″ | OH Wenatchee | 2025 State WA on the outside. Berry found Stuber on all the routes, including a smooth connection on the slide attack against RVC 18 Kosty.

She attacks well off one foot, Kayleigh-Shay Chang Kayleigh-Shay Chang 5’6″ | S Lake Washington | 2024 State WA will send her a smooth set to terminate on the slide. Remington reads setters and attackers as they set up the offense, her eye work guides her into position to set a terrific block.
Schneider showed a springy and athletic attack, especially on the quick-tempo plays over the weekend. Facing WVBA 16 the 2024 prospect from Freeman High School ripped off huge stuff blocks and turned the ball around the block to terminate points. She has an extremely high work rate, making herself available in transition and either allowing herself to score or opening up the seams for her pin attackers. Schneider is a player to watch as college coaches take notice of her athleticism and competitiveness.

Frye has a whip of an arm and takes a hard approach before she unleashes it looking for a hard angle or rip to the corners. The Shorewood star has a solid close on her blocks and presses hard to seal off the net. Frye is nowhere near her ceiling as a player, and the 2025 prospect has progressed in her physicality and play just from the end of high school to club in early March.

Sebesta is an under the radar 2024 middle who is developing quickly playing at Mt. Spokane and for RVC 17 Trent. She has very good touch and vision as an attacker, she can find the corners and send soft tips into open spots to score. Sebesta has good length and can swing form either pin as an option when needed.
