About Jordan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m an all-around Middle Blocker who balances aggressive net presence with high-level floor awareness. I specialize in a hybrid offensive game using both power and touch to find the gaps while providing a reliable defensive transition through consistent passing and emergency setting

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a high-character leader who brings a 'steady-hand' mentality to the game. I pride myself on maintaining a positive, composed presence under pressure and treating every opponent with respect. Off the court, I’m the team’s resident humorist. I love to keep the energy light and make sure we’re having as much fun as we are winning.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Off the court, I am a 4.0 Honor Roll scholar and dedicated community leader. Through my active roles in BSU, Bayanihan, and MEChA, I promote cultural awareness and advocacy. I bring the same discipline and well-rounded leadership to my academics and organizations as I do to my sport.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through 12 years of Dual Immersion and leadership in BSU, Bayanihan, and MEChA, I’ve built the cultural fluency to lead and unite diverse groups. My 4.0 GPA & coursework reflect a disciplined work ethic that carries over to the court. I’ve developed the ability to stay positive under pressure, prioritizing clear communication and collective success in everything I do.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Nothing significant, rather daily challenge of sustaining excellence across the board. Balancing the rigor of classes with the physical demands of volleyball and my commitments to BSU, Bayanihan, and MEChA requires constant focus. My biggest focus is learning how to manage my time effectively while maintaining my 4.0 GPA and still enjoying the typical experiences of being a teenager.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a university that offers a Pre-Medical curriculum to prepare me for a career as an Anesthesiologist, paired with a competitive volleyball program where I can contribute my versatile gameplay. I thrive in environments that value both academic excellence and high-level competition, allowing me to maintain academic standard while competing at the next level.
