Expert Analysis

At 5’10” she brings good height to the setter position. For Loudoun Elite she set when in the front row in a modified 5/1. It appears they missed a shot at a bid in Junior Nationals this year and will play in Wave 3 in AAUs.
Josephine also set for Westfield. They lost in the first round to George Marshall in the Regional Round of the playoffs. If used in a 6/2 she shows the ability to stay in the front row to provide offense with her hitting.
Looking forward to watching Josephine set in the East Coast championships. It has been at least a year since I last saw her play. That is far too long.

At 5’10” she normally sets the front row in a modified 5/1 for Loudoun Elite Tony. Her setting ability in the front row allowed Loudoun Elite to finish second in the Shamrock Showdown. Even when not setting she can still be used on the right side for her hitting ability.
She is listed as a setter for her high school team Westfield. At that position she earned an all district honorable mention award for both her setting and right side hitting. She still needs to work on the consistency in the location of her sets, especially with the quick tempo sets.

For Westfield Josephine sets and stays in the front row to hit right side. With a little more experience, she could run a 5/1 offense. She struggled a bit with the quick tempo sets, which take time and constant repetition to master.
Next year Josephine will play with Loudoun Elite Tony. This past weekend they played in the Volley by the James and finished 16th out of 24 teams. They won five out of their last six matches to finish 5-3.
Next, they will play at the National Harbor tournament.
