Diane has committed to Georgia. Despite being the 9th ranked prospect in the class of 2028 she is only the third ranked libero. She shows tremendous hustle roaming the backcourt. She played like a number one in this set.

Powerplex left side drove the next set down the line. Ingrid Smith Ingrid Smith 5'8" | S Dominion | 2027 State VA made a smooth pick up, Diana chased down the ball to set Annika Dandridge Annika Dandridge 6'1" | OH TCHS Of Baltimore | 2027 State VA for the kill to tie the set 12-12.

Another great dig by Ingrid Smith Ingrid Smith 5'8" | S Dominion | 2027 State VA on a hit down the line and the Powerplex outside netted on the attempted return play and it was 13-12. Is it ground hog day. Ingrid with the dig, Diane with the set and Annika with another kill to give Paramount the 14-12 lead. All those out of system sets you run in practice were paying off two fold.

Diane has the honor of being the first class of 2028 player to commit in the DMV Region. She currently plays up for the Paramount 17 team. I remember ranking her highly in the class of 2027 but then had to remove her when I realized she was playing up.

She plays with a passion using her natural instincts to cover the court. Her quickness to the ball keeps rallies alive as well as a strong volleyball IQ that allows her to read hitters well. Watching her play back row it appears she enjoys playing pepper with the opposing hitter on the other side of the net.

Diane has committed to Georgia. She will be the first Bulldog from the DMV area since 2018 when Katie Houser from James Wood played for them.

As a libero Diane has an instinct for the ball. She belongs to the class of 2028 so she plays up. Rarely do I see a shanked pass come from her platform allowing the team to run their offense. She also likes to play pepper with the opposing hitters, positioning herself on the court for the dig. Extremely quick in the back row.

She teams with Kayla Luther Kayla Luther 5'7" | DS/L/OH Loudoun County | 2027 State VA and Katherine Madden Katherine Madden 5'5" | DS/L Millbrook | 2027 State VA to create a stingy back row that allow few balls to hit the floor. Last year Kayla hit left side but her 5’7″ height limited her against the really taller blocks at the higher levels. Now Kayla prefers to frustrate hitters by digging the best they can offer.
