Udoye will be in action in the USA Division, representing Austin Skyline 18 Royal. Very few players in the state have her combination of size and skills, and she makes the most of it to be a difference-maker for Skyline. Standing at 6’2″ and extremely physical and aggressive at the net, Udoye is very difficult to stop at the net and stands out for her ability to keep her level high in moments of pressure. She’s among the best pin blockers in Texas, going up very high at the net and taking up a lot of space from opposing hitters, and is also very reliable with her passing.

Udoye is a dynamic athlete who consistently stands out every time she steps on the court. The Stanford commit brings a physical and aggressive presence on the pin, putting constant pressure on opposing defenses. She has the ability to score in multiple ways, whether through powerful swings or controlled shots in transition. Her competitiveness shows in extended rallies, where she continues to find ways to contribute and impact the match. Despite not always receiving the same level of attention as others in her class, her game speaks for itself, and she will be exciting to watch as she transitions into the college level.

Udoye is one of the stars of the strong Austin Skyline 17 Royal team that will get on the court in the 17 Open division this weekend. Originally an outside hitter, she made the move to the right this season in order to better accomodate the numerous pin hitters in the squad and has been showing great promise there as well. With her athleticism and excellent decision-making, Udoye has been very prolific offensively, playing a central role in the team’s scoring efforts. She’s also very versatile, being capable of putting the ball down from any position – she’s been geetting a few sets in the mdidle this season as well. Udoye is also a very good blocker and has the ability to step in and help on serve-receive if needed as well.

Joy has made another big splash in our rankings during this update. She is now listed as the 20th best overall prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Cedar Park High School and plays club for the Austin Skyline volleyball program. This last time that I watched her team ball out was in Orlando at the Sunshine Classic National Qualifier and I was thoroughly impressed with her play. Not only was she sending thunderous attacks over and over routinely from multiple locations, but she was mixing up her shots by cutting the ball around both sides of the block. If you study the game and watch was Austin Skyline is doing with their 17 Royal team’s lineup, you will see an intricate mixing up of three outsides in six rotations who play all positions at some point in the same set. This takes intelligence in order to apply this at an elite level and Joy is able to excel at it. It doesn’t matter where you put this young lady on the court, because she will be able to give your team a fighting chance due to her athleticism. We are very proud of what she has accomplished over this year in both high school and club. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot on our State Rankings.

Udoye played with the Austin Skyline 17 Royal team that ranked fifth after getting three wins and four losses. She also spent time in her original outside hitter position, but was very solid when used on the right. Udoye’s offense was excellent on the right as she combined her tremendous firepower with an interesting ability to find nice angles and solid decision-making – she was pretty effective when swinging from the right-back position too. She made a big impact with her huge block as well and also stepped in to help in serve-receive on some rotations.

, the team has arguably the best pin hitter duo in the entire state and should be among the favorites in the biggest tournaments of the season. Udoye is a real gem and has been developing at a very promising pace. Her game at the net is among the very best in the country as not many pin hitters can score (from both the pin and the middle back position) at the same rate she does, while also offering a strong blocking presence. Udoye’s backcourt skills have been improving very steadily too and she’s now very comfortable on that side of the game.

, who also went from Texas Fury to Austin Skyline, was very helpful as her offense remained as strong as usual despite the change – she was very efficient hitting from the middle back position. Udoye, who was playing one age group up, also showed she continues to improve on the backcourt as her passing was steady during the entire day. The pin hitter was a factor with her blocking too, getting in the way of opposing hitters and getting some stuffs.

Udoye has been truly impressive this season as she’s not only been playing one age group up with Texas Fury 16 Legacy, but also been arguably the team’s top player and one of its leaders. It’s not very usual to see players in her situation display so much maturity and consistency and that and her technical and physical skills have quickly established Udoye as one of the top outside hitters in her class. She’s a very strong offensive player, who can score against anyone, and that’s not only because of her impressive physical tools. Udoye is also very intelligent with her shot selection and is among the most reliable players to score in big moments. She also has very good ball control and holds her own pretty well on the backcourt.

You most likely won’t notice it, but despite probably being one of the top players in the 16 Bid division with her Texas Fury 16 Legacy team, Udoye will be playing one age group up. Extremely physical and athletic, she often dominates among older players and is one of the most promising players in the state of Texas in the class of 2026. Her offense is an absolute joy to watch as, besides being extremely powerful and capable of scoring from anywhere on the court, she’s wise beyond her years with her shot selection, which helps her get into an offensive rhythm. Udoye is also a solid blocker and has very good ball control, also getting the job done on the backcourt.
