About Kamryn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Attacking, lefty setter, love to take the second ball. I take pride in my defense, and I’ve worked hard over the last couple years to improve my setting technique so I’m unpredictable who I set.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would describe my personality as very even. I try to be the same even if we are up a lot or down a lot. As the primary setter on the court, I have to be a stable leader for my team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Honors Society

What type of college are you looking for?

Most important is a good academic fit. I want to be a personal financial advisor upon graduation so the school needs to have a degree program suited for that career path. My dream would be to play for a power 4 school. I’m open to different type of opportunities.

Mullican is part of the Drive Nation 17 Red team set to play in the 17 Invitational Division this weekend. She’s primarily a setter for them, but can also take on hitting duties on the right and produce at a high level. As a playmaker, she stands out for her ability to contact the ball very high up at the net and accelerate the game, while also being creative with her distribution. A lefty with excellent length, she uses her technique and vision to score points when working as a right side hitter and can also surprise opponents with her aggressive setter dumps, which on some occasions are more like setter swings.
