once again showed why she is regarded as one of the top players in the 2028 class in Texas. Ranked No. 7 overall by Prep Dig Texas, Johnson was one of the most dominant players in the entire tournament across three demanding days of competition. Opposing coaches had to know where she was at all times, as she proved she could score from any area of the court. She mixed her shots with intelligence and creativity, consistently keeping blockers and defenders off balance and often forcing a committed double block. Defensively, Johnson covered a tremendous amount of ground out of middle back, turning hard-driven attacks into quality digs. In serve receive, she showed disciplined movement and an early read, allowing her to pass with consistency under pressure. Her ability to impact the match in every phase of the game continues to separate her from her peers.

Taylor has risen in the State Rankings once again. She is now currently ranked as the 7th best overall player according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Hebron High School and also plays for the Dallas Skyline volleyball club program. There are certain players that can soar with the birds and Miss Johnson is definitely one of them. Blessed with the ability to get off of the ground with ease and in a hurry, this young lady is very difficult to time on the block. She is a legit threat to score any time she attempts to swing due to her lightning quick arm swing. The ball is shot out of her cannon arm and it disappears in a hurry after it rebounds off of her hand. If the blockers do not commit to double her and cheat to her side often, she will exploit the split fast. There is no doubt in my mind that if we had a speed gun on her after she makes contact with the ball that she would be one of the top fire ballers in the game. Whoever picks this young lady for their roster will be blessed with some extra bounce in their game. Please help us congratulate her on moving up in our prestigious State Rankings.

I don’t think I have enough words to describe what it felt like watching Taylor play. She is an explosive athlete who plays with unmatched energy and dominance at the net. Her vertical is impressive, consistently touching high above the net, allowing her to block and attack with authority. She’s constantly moving, communicating, and staying engaged both on and off the court, setting the tone for her team. With a lightning-fast arm swing that’s nearly impossible to track, Taylor brings undeniable power and intensity to every play. She’s a true beast and a game-changer every time she steps on the floor.

Taylor is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. With what we saw at the Expo, she will be highly ranked. She plays volleyball at Hebron High School and plays club for the Dallas Skyline volleyball program. Miss Johnson is one of the new up and coming stars of the 2028 class who plays sky high above the net. There were a few times where I saw tons of spectators just shake their heads after watching her crush the ball without anyone touching it. She has a lightning fast arm swing that explodes downward every single contact. As an attacker she not only hits a hard ball, but also has great shot selection to find holes in the defense. There is no way that she should come off of the court in any rotation as she can be a lethal weapon for a team no matter where she is located. If you do not know who she is by now, trust me you will this season. She is a can’t miss recruit who will be known by everyone once the club season is underway. College coaches, put her name in your short list of 2028’s to watch this season. In the meantime, please help us congratulate her on earning a Most Valuable Player award and a Top Performer award at the Expo.
