About Kamryn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I try to be the terminator and make the smart decisions when I am on the floor. I am a hustler, and always want to fix my mistakes. I am a fast learner and very coachable. I don't get angry on the court, I am always cool and collected.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a positive person, always looking to the bright side. I love to make jokes and friends on and off the court, but I always know when to lock in.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in FFA and have won small academic awards from our school. I hope to join our honor society as well and am on our school's honor roll every quarter. I enjoy all of the activities my school offers.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a quieter leader, but will voice my leadership when needed. I have done plenty of hours of community service and am involved in many teamwork activities.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had a surgery on my wrist which held me back from my sophomore season, but am now back and ready to play. I handled the situation very well and used my time to learn the game even more and work on limited skills.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would love any college that will take me to play volleyball, but I would like to atleast stay close to Nebraska, if not in it.

We had to get the small-town scene involved in this one. Steinhauer had a productive season for South Central NE 16 Black and showcased her full range as a six-rotation threat. Even if she’s not in the front row, Steinhauer brings infectious energy and effort through her ball control in the middle-back area. Sutton High School harnessed this versatility as soon as Steinhauer joined the crew as a freshman. Now, as a veteran, this dynamic athlete will have a big say in getting the Fillies back to the state tournament.

Steinhauer has already proven herself at the varsity level, so her rankings debut was inevitable. She amassed triple-digit kills for Sutton last fall and added about three digs per set to complement this effort. This made Steinhauer an all-around gem in the South Central NE gym who could pass and play defense to back up her scoring. That’s the kind of skill set that produces can’t-miss athletes on the small-town scene, and Steinhauer is quickly reaching that status.
