About Karly

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very outgoing person who enjoys being around people. I enjoy seeing others succeed and I feel like I do a good joblifting others up when they are down. I feel like I am a very calm person who when given a challenge maintains a mentality of cool and calm. I

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a 6 year 4- H member and have won numerous awards in public speaking. I am a member of the national junior honor society, student council, and represent my school for YGIVE which is a community service oriented group in Hancock County, Indiana.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through my experience on the court playing varsity setter so far as a freshman I have developed leadership skills. I know that I run the offense and that I need to be sure to use all of my hitters to change up the play. In addition, teamwork is key and trusting one another is so very important to being a successful team. Finally, my high school varsity team believes that we must serve others.
