Thompson is outstanding and reading the court and moving around her hitter and changing their routes. Her communication ensures success for her team. She is a dedicated setter who will do anything to get her hands on the ball to make a strong play. During long rallies she moves around the ball to make her opponents work and move, tiring them out. Thompson is smart when dumping and reads where the defense is sitting to get it around them. As a sophomore, she is making a big impact on the court and will only continue to grow and become an even more powerful force for next season.
