Emma Adams | Prep Dig Scout
Brewer, a top middle blocker from the class of 2025, continues to elevate her game each time she competes. Her reach has significantly improved this season, and when combined with her 6’1″ frame, she delivers an imposing attack. Her blocking instincts are elite, using high-level vision to read the setter and close effectively at the pins.

Previous Rank: 56
Brewer started her prep volleyball journey in the 100s on our rankings but has continued to make significant strides in her game, breaking into the top 50 with this last update. This past club season with NPJ Portland 17-1 National, she was the team’s starting middle blocker and did a lot of damage at the net. She is a huge blocking presence, aggressive, and hungry to block the ball, taking up a lot of space with her press. She showcases a lot of potential and is nowhere near her ceiling in terms of skill. This potential and raw athleticism got the attention of Portland State University, a Division 1 program on the rise. Brewer committed to the Vikings in May of this year.

Portland State commit Brewer was tough from the middle during the showcase. She used her height and length well to reach high on top of the ball, and she displayed an explosive attacking approach. Brewer’s block was also deadly throughout drills.

Brewer has been a big contributor for NPJ Portland 17 National out of the middle and will be key to the team’s success as they compete in the 17 Freedom division at USAV Nationals. With a heavy arm and an aggressive snap, she is fed the ball often to put the ball away. Her blocking is formidable, with a productive first step laterally and a massive press, she creates a wall that is hard for opponents to work around.

Brewer’s rapid improvement to her game over the past year has been impressive to watch. Joining NPJ Portland 17-1 National this club season, I am eager to see her compete at a more elite level. The six-foot middle blocker relies on her quick arm swing and aggressive snap on the ball to rack up kills. When running a quick, she showcases a versatile attack by swinging to both the left and right sides of the court.

Brewer, a six-foot middle blocker from Centennial High School, absolutely blew us away because of her improvement. The last time we watched Brewer play was at the previous expo about a year ago, and the progress made to her game in a year is unreal. These rapid developments are a testament to her hard work. Seeing Brewer play now, she is faster, stronger, and technically, much more refined. Her athleticism and physicality were on full display. With a hammer of an arm, she was pounding ball after ball during hitting lines. And she proved hard to stop during gameplay. Playing for NPJ Portland 17-1 National, I am eager to see her continued improvement this season.
