Thompson is a huge reason to Farmington’s success this season. Her volleyball IQ is unmatched. Her serve receive is top notch and is proving herself to be one of the best back row players in the state. It is almost hard to believe she is just a sophomore. Thompson is going to continue to turn heads as she continues to help Farmington continue their successful season.

Thompson is a very scrappy Libero and is very impressive for her age. She is a very hard libero to get the ball past because she lays out everything to keep the ball off the floor. She does a great job at reading the opposing attackers and sees where their shoulders, hand, and feet are facing. Thompson also has some pretty good out of system sets to the pins.

Thompson can cover eighty percent of the court. She is a very impressive libero to watch. There is no such thing as not getting to a ball when it comes to Thompson because I have seen her save the point when I thought the point was over. She is also pretty impressive with her out of system sets, pushing the ball to the pins for her attackers.

Though only being a freshman, Thompson is among the most consistent and aggressive Liberos in Arkansas. Not many blockers leave line open for the opposing Right side attackers, but this Ozark 15 Mizuno team trust Thompson to pick up any line shot. Thompson keeps a wide base anticipating the tip. Thompson reads the opposing hitters really well based on their hand, shoulders, and the block. Out of system sets from Thompson were quite impressive to her pins. Thompson is one of those Liberos that reacts before they think, making her really impressive to watch.
