Hamilton has been one of the more productive six-rotation players in 6A. She’s got 388 kills and 327 digs. She’s averaging 3.8 kills per set and better than three digs per set while competing in the 6A West.

Her .228 hitting percentage is one of the things separating her from the players above her, but the offensive workload and defensive production are significant. Tristen is one of the most exciting players in the state.

Hamilton has been asked to do a lot for Bentonville, and the numbers show it.

She’s getting it done against a strong 6A schedule and is one of the more complete pins on this list.

Tristen Hamilton Tristen Hamilton 5'9" | OH/DS/L Bentonville | 2028 State AR was everywhere last night for the Tigers. She went on several runs of her own during the game. Hamilton is a streaky player, but when she gets hot, watch out. Like Kirkconnell for the Bulldogs, Hamilton had an amazing back-row baseline dig where she got it up, leading to an Ella Dryer kill. Dryer was impressive as well, with 12 kills, 6 digs and 4 aces to her credit.

This was a fan’s dream game. High-level offense and high-level defense on both sides of the net. This will be a game to be in the stands for when they meet again on October 22, the final day of the season. It could be for the 6A-West title…

How do you pick one player off a team full of stars? You ask around. For all of these nominees, I have reached out to multiple sources, but this was a tough one. So why Tristen Hamilton Tristen Hamilton 5'9" | OH/DS/L Bentonville | 2028 State AR ? Well, 369 kills, 69 blocks, 368 digs, 37 aces, and 593 receptions…that’s why.

Hamilton brings value all over the court. She finished in the top three in several team categories while leading Bentonville in kills, kills per set, and receptions. Even dominant teams need that one player who can step up in any situation, and Hamilton is that player in my eyes—and apparently in the eyes of several others—for Bentonville.

The 6A West is going to be a meat grinder this season. The Tigers can repeat in the 6A-West. There are no easy nights, and it will take the entire roster for Bentonville to come out on top. But having a player like Tristen on the court for all six rotations sure makes things a little easier.

Another player headed to North Alabama; Hamilton continues to prove that production isn’t determined by height. The 5’9″ star attacks with great timing, competes in every phase of the game, and consistently delivers in big moments. She tallied 368 digs, 69 blocks and 37 aces to show the versatility in her game. Bentonville we counting on more big swings in the 2026 season to try and get the Tigers back to the championship game.

Electric is how I would explain Tristen. All you have to do is watch for a few minutes and you will see exactly what I mean. When contact is made…it sounds like an explosion.

Few players have been as productive as a freshman and a sophomore as Hamilton has. She has appeared in 199 sets, totaling 512 kills, 368 digs, 69 total blocks and 37 aces. Tristen has proven to be one of the most complete outside hitters in the state and she hasn’t even hit her junior year yet!!

Her accomplishments extend well beyond the stat sheets. She was named to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette All Prep Fresh/Soph Team, All State Honors, 8 times MaxPreps player of the game underscoring her ability to perform at a high level.

Along with Baber, Miller and Stallbaumer she competed this past club season with the Ozark Jrs 16 Premier squad.

Hamilton is one of the go to attackers for a very young and impressive Bentonville team. With 192 kills on the season so far, she leads all sophomores in the state with the total amount of kills. She had 17 kills in just a three set match against Southside High School. She has a pretty impressive hitting percentage as well at .240%.

Hamilton being an underclassmen is crazy. She makes huge plays that you would often only see from a seasoned upperclassmen. Her ability to swing around the block is really impressive and she swings a very good hard shot down the line. She has a high vertical which lets her swing over most blockers in the state.

Hamilton made an impressive performance the last season as just a freshman. Expect her to come back even stronger for her sophomore year. Hamilton has an impressive vertical that helps her reach over the opposing block. Hamilton had an impressive block as a freshman and will be a brick wall this year.
