About Kaylie
Expert Analysis
Mike Bryant | Prep Dig Scout
Although her team had a tough time securing wins on day one, Liepins did some good work during her setting opportunities to help create good opportunities for her hitters to swing. Their final match of the day was their best output as they found more of a groove in how they competed with Liepins being a catalyst to this as a floor leader and distributor. Look for them to bounce back on day two as they enter challenge bracket play in match #24.

Liepins enters the initial 2028 rankings as one of the current top setting prospects given her simple tools, ability to locate well in all situations, and due to the impact she made for Aurora in her first varsity season. At 626 total assists, she dished and average of 8.5 a/s. She was key in other areas as well at 11.5 digs per match while serving up a team best 58 aces. She competes for AVC’s top 15U squad that features some of the best attackers in this Ohio class and her success last season in getting them involved through a balanced effort is one of the best parts of her floor direction.
