Keira Okey Keira Okey 5'8" | MB Hopkins | 2030 MN is a player I really enjoy watching at the net, especially her blocking. She does a nice job reading the opposing setter and doesn’t get caught jumping too early. I like how she stays patient, watches the play develop, and gets in front of the hitter. Keira also closes the block well and gets her hands over the net, making it hard for attackers to find an open angle. What stands out is that she doesn’t always need a big stuff block to make a difference. Sometimes it’s just a touch that slows the ball down and gives her teammates a chance to make a play. That kind of awareness and discipline at the net is something I really like about her game. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas
