About Kelci

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strength as a player is being a leader. My leadership shows up in games by encouraging my teammates and keeping everyone focused , no matter the score. I communicate on the court, help keep the team organized, and lead by example with my effort and attitude. I stay positive during tough moments and motivate my teammates to keep competing until the end.

What are you working to improve right now?

The things I am working on to improve is my confidence on the court by trusting my abilities and making quick decisions. I am also focused on developing my overall skill set, especially my timing during plays. By practicing and learning from each game.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I am looking for a college program that provides a strong education and will help me prepare for my future career. I want to be apart of a competitive volleyball program with coaches and teammates who will hold me accountable and help me approve. I also would prefer a school with flexible classes that could help student athletes balance academics and athletics.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

I would like coaches to know that I am respectful, kind, and always willing to learn something new. I m outgoing, enjoy building strong relationships with my teammates, and like to bring. A positive send of humor to the team. I strive to be a supportive person off and on the court.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I plan to study nursing because I want to help others and make a positive difference in peoples lives. I am also interested in engineering because I enjoy problem solving and learning how things work. I look forward to exploring both fields and finding the path that best fits my goals.
