About Mirabelle

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Athletic hard working driven libero who stays on her toes ready to go all out for every ball. She personally creates connections between her and her teammates in order to have the best communication in the court as possible calling everything she sees out to let her team know.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is if a ball drops I can get the next one and if I make a mistake I need to recognize what I did wrong and fix it for the next time. My personality is intense and competitive. No matter what the circumstances are I believe the team I’m on could always still win and when a mistake is made I don’t let it linger in my head.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am on 13 Adiadas at Adversity in wood dale Illinois. As far as non sport rewards go I have none yet but will strive to once I am in high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the course of each season I have undergone I would say over time my leadership and confidence on the court are what improved the most. Also learning who my teammates were over the season has helped greatly develop me and my team yes teamwork and communication. Off the court volleyball has helped me learn about time management, how to get out of thinking traps, and how to achieve goals.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In 6th grade when I first started volleyball I was cut from the school team. This motivated me to make the team next year. As a result I spent all summer and everyday after school practicing in my back yard to get good enough to start on the 7th grade team and I did just that . Then I kept practicing and by 8th grade season I made a club team and was the best of five liberos that tried out.

What type of college are you looking for?

My dream is to play collage level volleyball. Ideally division one but if not then division two or three. My occupation is undecided and depending on what collages might want me for volleyball can change what I want to do with my life so I am open to any collages that wish to have me on their volleyball team.
