Expert Analysis
Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
Campbell already has a high standing in our 2029 rankings, and her dominance on the Prep Dig Circuit likely contributed to that feat. She was a memorable figure at our Kansas City event with her sharp, whippy southpaw swing. Being a lefty naturally makes Campbell a ready-made asset at the opposite position. She pounces on MAVS KC 15 National’s quick tempo and gets ahead of wing blockers at the tape. However, Campbell is a rare instance of a lefty who can do damage in the middle, too. This unusual combination has popped up throughout 2026, elevating our intrigue toward this freshman prospect.

Campbell joins her teammate Elliott and debuts in the rankings at No. 8 overall. She had a much more limited role at Northwest this past fall, but raised eyebrows with her performance at a Prep Dig showcase in December. She recorded 41 kills and 4 blocks in 53 varsity sets last fall. I was impressed with her physicality and jumping skills at the aforementioned showcase. She will be a player I make a special effort to see play next fall.

Now that I have watched my favorite “family movie,” I want to be scared. Therefore, Blue Valley Northwest’s Campbell will replace Neve Campbell in a remake of 1996’s Scream. I scouted Campbell for the first time on the recent Prep Dig Exposure Tour, and the comps have been in my head ever since. Campbell is as tough as Houston Oilers’ great Earl Campbell, and has a reach like former L.A. Laker forward Elden Campbell, who passed away earlier this month. She also has an infectious personality, like Detroit Lions’ coach and Applebee’s commercial star Dan Campbell. Seriously, I CAN just keep going on like this for days. Maybe I will have a grilled cheese sandwich with some Campbell’s Tomato Soup for supper! This Campbell, who can play rightside and middle, is set to debut in the Kansas Class of 2029 rankings next month.

Campbell will parlay her Exposure Tour into a high-debuting slot in the Class of 2029 rankings when they are next updated. She has natural leadership skills and supported other athletes during drills. This was the first time I had seen her compete, and she made a great first impression. She would be a six-rotation athlete on this squad.
Campbell is currently unranked by Prep Dig Kansas. She recorded 41 kills in 53 varsity sets played as a freshman.
