This setter is one to watch. She can beat you by spreading the ball around to her hitters or getting kills herself. She keeps defenses on their toes. Very aggressive at the net and highly skilled. All year long, she will have defenses guessing if she will set or will look to score.

Kendall Kozak Kendall Kozak 5'11" | S/RS Minooka | 2026 State IL is a savvy, left-handed setter who not only runs a clean offense but also poses a scoring threat at the net. Her hands are quick and consistent, delivering hittable balls from a variety of angles, even off tight or broken plays.

What sets Kendall apart is her ability to keep defenses honest—she’s aggressive on second contact, smart with dumps, and not afraid to swing when she’s front row. That lefty attack adds an extra layer of pressure for opposing blockers.

Kozak is a dynamic setter and right side hitter. I watched her over the Presidents’ Day tournament and was impressed with her ability to not only deliver well placed sets with tempo, but also attacks with her monster arm swing from the right pin. Kozak is likely going to comit soon (if she hasn’t already) and her coach will be very fortunate to have such a dominate, versatile player on their roster.

Kendall Kozak is a mismatch nightmare for Sports Performance 17 Marshall.  She is a 5’11 left handed right side that knows how to use her attack angles extremely well.  She is a threat out of system along with being used on freeball plays to score out of the middle.  This past fall she was a 2nd Team All State pick for Minooka High School.  She can also step in and set as well.  She is one who would improve the play in the gym at the next level. 

So dynamic.  Kenall Kozak is a swiss army knife type of player who is a 5’11 lefty setter who can dish and also score points from the right side. She’s been a key player for Sports Performance and does a little bit of everything as a junior at Minooka.  So far this high school season she is averaging nearly four kills per set, hitting .390, leads the team in blocks, and assists.  She impacts every part of the game in a positive way and will be fun to keep tabs on in through her recruiting journey.
