Kendall Mueller Kendall Mueller 5'9" | OH ND is one of North Dakota’s best athletes in the 2028 class and ranks in the top five. She is explosive, always making plays, and highly competitive. Kendall gets up at the pin and swings away, not afraid to take a big swing.

Kendall plays with a lot of energy. She works hard, fights for every point, and inspires her teammates. Yes, she gets excited about the big plays, but she also does the little things that don’t always show up in the stats. She works hard whether the ball is coming to her or not.

I love that about Kendall. She is the heart of volleyball. She’s more of a teammate, but she wants to play, and she’s competitive. You can tell by looking at her.

The craziest thing is, volleyball isn’t even the sport she plans to play in college. Mueller has signed with the University of Minnesota’s Division I soccer program. One of North Dakota’s top five players in the 2028 class in volleyball is going to the Big Ten to play a different sport. That says a lot about her as an athlete.

Kendall could have had a future in volleyball; there is no question about that. For now, we get to enjoy watching her compete, lead, and give everything she has when she steps on a volleyball court. She has earned her place in this top five. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

Kendall Mueller Kendall Mueller 5'9" | OH ND rounds out the Top 5 as the No. 5 overall player and the No. 3 outside hitter in North Dakota’s Class of 2028, and her value comes from how complete her game already is. She is a true six-rotation outside who can be trusted in serve receive, stay engaged defensively, and still be a reliable scoring option from the pin. Kendall plays with balance and control, showing an understanding of how to manage points rather than forcing them.

What stands out is her consistency and production. She has already set school records in kills, a reflection of both her offensive responsibility and her ability to deliver over time. Kendall is equally willing to do the work in the back row, making her a dependable option coaches can leave on the court in every rotation.

Kendall continues to trend upward, and her six-rotation skill set gives her flexibility at the next level. College coaches should have her firmly on their watch list—she’s a proven producer who understands the demands of the outside hitter position and continues to raise her ceiling. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas
