About Kendel

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with a lot of energy and focus on being consistent in every part of the game — passing, defense, and hitting.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I stay calm under pressure and always look for ways to lift my teammates up.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I volunteer at my church, help with youth volleyball events, and have been recognized for leadership and responsibility in school. I am also in the National Honors Society

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership and teamwork through volleyball, learned to encourage and support others and gained responsibility through volunteering in my community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve worked on building my confidence, especially in speaking up and trusting my abilities on the court, which helped me grow as a leader and teammate tremendously.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want a college with a supportive, nurturing and fun community where I can be part of a team, connect with people, and balance academics with extracurriculars.

Her ability to hit both line and angle made her nearly impossible to defend.

State Run:
Kendel will continue her postseason journey on Tuesday, November 11, when Cypress hosts Venice in the opening round of the 2025 CIF State Girls Volleyball Championships (Division II). The match will take place at Cypress High School with first serve scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
